The ridiculous and the mundane

This is the first personal blog I’ve had since Live Journal back in high school. I tried to find it once, just to read, but I must have deleted it. I was pretty stupid, it was probably for the best.

I’m going to write about all the ridiculous things that occur to me over the course of raising a child (1 year, one month old) and being engaged to her wonderful and strange father. Also the mundane, which is actually ridiculous most of the time. I dont know what it is about typing… I used to be able to write pen to paper. Now I just need my ideas to flow out of me as fast as I can think them. I have little patience in reserve.

I’ll get started.

Sophie has taken her naturally strong resolve to bed time. It seems like every day she figures out a little bit more about the world, thus becoming aware that she can manipulate it. First order of business? Bed time. It must be abolished. Naked time after bath time must last for AT LEAST 3 hours.

Good news is, we’re still bigger then she is, so it’s a struggle to get the diaper and the P.J’s on her, but it happens. She then tends to fall asleep after an hour of trying to provoke us into playing with her.

Anyway, Merry Christmas. I have to go cook a ham. More later.

I like the way you write. Simple yet understandable.

Merry Christmas to you, Strange Father, and Sophie!
